About me

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics, Division of Economic Theory, at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Bingöl University. My research focuses on energy economics, sustainable development, econometric modeling, finance, and macroeconomics.

My academic journey began with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a master's degree in Applied Mathematics at Cumhuriyet University. Driven by a desire to explore the intersection of economics and mathematics in greater depth, I pursued a Ph.D. in Economics at Sakarya University. During my doctoral studies, I specialized in econometric modeling and advanced data analysis techniques, applying a systematic and analytical approach to examining economic relationships.

Throughout my tenure at Bingöl University, I have conducted research spanning a broad spectrum of topics, including energy economics, sustainability, financial analysis, and macroeconomic dynamics. My studies integrate econometric methodologies such as time series and panel data analyses, while also leveraging artificial intelligence and coding-based data analysis techniques. My academic publications, featured in high-impact international journals, reflect a commitment to methodological diversity and analytical rigor in advancing economic science.

Currently, I am engaged in both solo-authored research and collaborative academic projects with esteemed colleagues from national and international institutions. My ongoing efforts aim to enrich the body of knowledge in economics and strengthen academic collaborations. My dedication to scientific research is rooted in a commitment to the advancement of the economics discipline, academic excellence, methodological innovation, and interdisciplinary, professional partnerships.

İktisat-Matematik-Ekonometri ilişkisi

  • "Matematik olmadan ekonomi tahmindir, ekonomi olmadan matematik soyutluktur."

  • "Ekonometri, iktisatta ekonominin analitik dilidir."

– Sayılar her şeyi anlatmaz.
